Our secondary department is capable of many operations. At Avedon we
ultrasonically insert, bond, glue, heat-stake, vapor polish, hot stamp,
pad print, silk-screen, EmmaBond weld, assemble, and package plastic
parts to meet customer specifications. Our painting department has 11
paint booths along with two conveyor ovens and two batch ovens to
enhance programs of any size. Parts are moved on a monorail through three Binks Spray Booths for painting and continue through a fifty foot drying oven. Seven other spray booths are serviced by a 4 foot wide, 130 foot long, conveyor belt which carries painted parts through a separate 40 foot drying oven. Once dried, the parts are inspected and packaged. We also have two batch ovens, which add to the flexibility of our facility. Each spray booth is equipped with its own filters and air evacuation system. The entire paint room, with its separate filtered air system, is kept at positive air pressure, and constant temperature and humidity to ensure a fine finish, whether it is texture, matte, high gloss, or EMI/RFI shielding.
